Christian and Missionary Alliance Church…

We are one of thousands of Churches that are part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA). The CMA was started in 1881 when Pastor A. B. Simpson organized a small group of believers devoted to experiencing Jesus in His fullness and making Him known to New York City’s marginalized dock workers. Since 1881 we have over 2000 churches in  the world spread out over 65 countries. We have sent over 8,000 missionaries from North America to more than 80 nations with more than 800 sent out now.

i‘m new to Crosswalk Church…

Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating. Below are all good questions. We’ve done our best to make the Crosswalk Church as “user-friendly” as possible!

How should I dress?
Most attenders dress casual
Where do I park?
Parking is available at the rear of the building with visitor and handicapped parking on the south side of the building. There is also on-street parking.
Will I know what to do?
If you enter from the back parking lot, go up the stairs to our foyer and you will see the auditorium. If you enter through the front main doors, you will enter in the foyer with the auditorium right there. Sunday morning Bible study at 9 is held in the community room which is on the same level as the parking lot. Greeters and ushers are available to answer your questions
What about my child?
We offer a Nursery for children under 5. The children can be dropped off during Bible study or anytime thereafter until the 10:15 service is complete. We also offer Children’s Church for grades K-5. The children will be released to go to their age appropriate church after worship. Some of our youth help out with children’s church and nursery. All youth workers are required to complete annual training. Our youth (6-12th grade) have the option to meet with the youth group for a service designed for them or stay in the regular service.
What will the service look like?
Our service is designed to connect with God through music, teaching and worship. Our typical service starts with worship followed by a teaching and another worship song.
Will I feel out of place
We would like to welcome all of our new attenders. We know it can be intimidating in a new environment. After the service, coffee and cookies are available. We hope you will stay so we can get to know one another!
